About Us
Mark View was started in 1990, and is run BY enthusiasts FOR enthusiasts. Our real interest lies in classic cars & motorcycles and historic motor sport, so that's what Mark View's stock focuses on.
Most of our books are older titles, though I do stock a few new ones too. We've also got hundreds of handbooks, magazines, prints, cards and other memorabilia.
Our focus is on mail order, though we try and attend a few swap meets too. Mark View is a home-based weekend and evening business: visitors are welcome, but please Contact Us first, to arrange an appointment.
We also do some free-lance writing & photography, plus reviewing and editing for local and overseas books and magazines. We regularly attend the Manfield and Ruapuna classic car meetings and the Classic Bike Festival, and we've been lucky enough to get to a few overseas events, too.
Vehicles we've owned include a Morris Minor, Mk 1 Zodiac, a TR3 and a '63 AJS 650 motorcycle.
